Google’s First Project Stream: Now Invites Players for Console Gaming Right from Chrome
The Silicon Review
08 October, 2018

Google wants project stream testers to experience the epic odyssey of Spartan hero. Along with Ubisoft, Google now is allowing testers/players to play the new Assassin’s Creed Odyssey for free right from Google Chrome. In the other words, you don’t have to download and install files that will have tens of GB data. This free to play option will only be available for players within the US and for those who are above the age of 17. The time frame in which this will be active is till January 15, 2019.

The reason for Google to step into the game streaming market is because there are not many players in the field in the present time. The Major players, for now, are Sony-PlayStation, Xbox with Microsoft. Google has already established its place as the most used search engine, that means streaming games will just add up to its features. Codenamed Yeti is said to work with Google Chrome for the streaming dongle. Users will be given $10 in-game currency to carry out the game’s features and also will be creating Ubisoft accounts.  Gaming is evolving with it the way it is played is also evolving, this means we will experience some new changes in the gaming industry, let us see what happens in the future.
